Oh Christmas Tree...

If only I could leave the Christmas tree up for the entire year. It saddens me to think that it is going to go down tomorrow. Not only is this tree the most awesome housewarming gift from my bestest friends, but it is our first tree. Last year, we didn't have any space, so we created this make-shift tree using strings and a board.

Gorgeous!

Here are some photos of my favorite ornaments from last year.
1) Our first Christmas
2) Bling Bling glitter ornament

...and some additions this year
1) My friend made this for me...its made with my favorite color and covered with cherries! (my name means Cherry Blossom in Japanese)
2) Our First Christmas in Our New Home

Happy New Year!

Trip to Africa

One day, I would like to go to Africa...until then, the San Diego Wild Animal Park will do...TOTALLY do *especially when you have an annual pass*
Here's a little overview of our visit
Once inside, Jimmy and I were greeted by this beautiful flower...

...and one legged flamingos (it's an inside joke)

Oh, and here's a photo of me trying to crush THE King

...these guys (I actually jumped when he growled...it was VERY intimidating. Definitely not a good idea to mess!)

We then decided to take a tour of Africa...the 20 minute version

Not bad, eh?

I *heart* giraffes...Jimmy thinks it's because I envy them for their long necks...

Ok, so I thought about not posting the next photo, but what the heck, it's pretty amusing. This actually went on for about 30 seconds...non-stop.

Here's Jimmy playing around on the swinging bridge

...and chilling inside a tree trunk

Comparing tongues...blah

Happy Holidays!

Precious

sigh...how do you NOT enjoy photographing a handsome 4 month old and an absolutely adorable 6 month old? Despite the winter chill, these 2 babies did an AWESOME job. I know both moms are anxious to see the photos, so here they are...my favorites =)

I do believe that this one is my favorite.

I just can't decide if I like the color or the black & white better.

Perfect Match!

Let me just say that these two love birds are now pro models. During the first engagement shoot they were a little shy, a little uneasy, and a little unsure, but here we are, ROUND 2, and they acted like pros! The best part was that they showed their personalities, and I truly enjoyed my every moment of the shoot.
To start off, a casual pose...

Then we added little kisses...

...and a sprinkle of laughter...

...and their true selves came out! These two were so funny and I LOVE how Stephen went along with whatever Melissa wanted.

Did I tell you the Stephen has Melissa's name tatooed on his forearm?

I'm looking forward to your wedding in March!

He's back!!

Little A is back and he's cute as ever! We had a lovely time at the park with the whole entourage - Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, and Auntie! Check it out
His eyes are unbelievably amazing...don't cha think?

I was told he likes fish...hence, the Nemo outfit. I could probably eat him.

That's it for now! Tune in for more later.
